Yelich, Pivetta, Gray, Springer among Box-Toppers key ‘worthy but unchosen’ players for 2025 All-Star game
Seiya Suzuki of the Cubs and Christian Yelich are the top two National League batters in Box-Toppers points in 2025.
Nick Pivetta of the Padres and Sonny Gray of the Cardinals are among the top 10 players in Box-Toppers points for 2025.
George Springer of the Blue Jays ranks second among American League batters in 2025 Box-Toppers points and leads AL designated hitters.
However, none of those five players were selected to participate in the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game Tuesday at the Atlanta Braves home ballpark, Truist Park in Cumberland, Georgia.
Joining them as key All-Star snubs are Wilyer Abreu of the Red Sox, Jose Altuve of the Astros, Salvador Perez of the Royals, Willy Adames of the Giants and Carson Kelly of the Cubs.
Suzuki is the only Box-Toppers category leader not to be named to an All-Star team. He leads NL batters with 8.5 Box-Toppers points, 21st among all players.
